Boeing Brazil Engineering Center is seeking Associate Electronic Systems Design, reporting to the Electronic System Manager, working out of the Sao Jose Dos Campos, Brazil office.

Associate Electronic Systems Design Engineers will join the Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA) team. All projects focus on design, development, and production support of Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA) Platform Architecture and Airplane Electronic Hardware (AEH) & Software.

Successful candidate will work with a worldwide team to implement system hardware and software and aircraft systems from initial concept through certification, delivery, and in-service support.

Position Responsibilities:

• Translation of concepts and high-level requirements to specific architectures and operational specifications, and the integration of avionics systems and components into our complex airplanes.




• Component design, development and qualification to applicable aerospace standards.




• System Requirements documentation, validation, and verification.




• Supporting in development of System Safety Analysis.




• Support with IMA Platform hosted functions to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements.




• Verification of system designs to meet operational and functional requirements.




• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure compliance with requirements.

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Relevant experience within Electronic Systems hardware and software design




• Bachelor?s Degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry




• Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English




• Must be legally able to work in Brazil

Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):

• Familiarity with engineering processes and methods




• Experience working with cross functional teams




• Demonstrated project management skills within a fast paced highly integrated environment




• Experience with Model Based Development tools
